TAHITIAN BLUE YARN
Get your drink with the tiny umbrella! This colorway reminds me of an island vacation, miles of white sand beaches, crystal clear turquoise blue water, shirtless men playing volleyball, oversized sunglasses, smutty books on audio, knitting, and snacks! Perfection!
Product Info
All the fiber used to make yarn and roving is dyed in small batches of 1-3 pounds at a time and can be special ordered in larger dye lots. We recommend contacting us for special orders of yarns or fibers for larger projects to ensure you receive matching dye lots and yarn with similar textures.
The yarns made by Dirty Girl Yarn start out as raw wool and other animal fibers sourced directly from Heidi’s network of shepherds in Vermont, New York, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Some of the wools used are Lincoln Longwool, Wensleydale, Romney, Icelandic, Cotswold, Tunis, Shetland, Blue Faced Leicester, and Border Leicester. The wool is washed and dyed in one fell swoop, dried in the Vermont sunshine and mountain air then lovingly hand spun on an Ashford Country Spinner II… the workhorse of art yarn creation! Each batch of yarn consists of a variety of wools and other animal fibers and these fiber combinations change depending on what is currently in stock.
Pro-Chemical and Dye washfast acid dyes are used exclusively by Dirty Girl Yarn. We LOVE these dyes however, dyes can be reformulated or discontinued by the manufacturer without any notice.

Care and handling
art yarns are quite rugged but just like any wool based product care is required when washing to prevent felting! Hand wash in tepid water and mild laundry detergent or shampoo.... lay flat to dry.
